Habitat Jubilee June 3 - Music, Food, Fun 11-2

The 2nd annual Habitat Jubilee will be Saturday, June 3, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Aldersgate UMC, 5130 Lincoln Ave. This year you can listen to the music, eat and shop at the same time that kids will have activities, because everything will be in Aldersgate’s Family Life Center. The proceeds of the booths and the freewill offering for the music will support the Evansville United Methodist 2018 Habitat Build. Gina Moore, Emily Parker, Warren Hale, the Old North Men’s Quartet, Haily Goad, the Southern Hollow Dulcimer & Folk Group, and the Sweet Adeline’s will provide music. Several churches will be selling food and crafts, includes Old North’s Fair Trade Store. For children there will be a supervised playground and games, just outside the FLC. Please support this fun event to help another local family become a homeowner. For more information contact Joe Easley (812-431-3248).

“The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Evansville, Inc. is to help fulfill the greater mission of Habitat for Humanity International to eliminate poverty housing in the world. We seek to witness to and implement the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Evansville, Indiana, and throughout the world by building homes with God’s people in need and by working with them to create a better neighborhood and community in which to live and work.”

McCutchanville Church has been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Evansville during all the “Methodist Builds”. The area Methodist Churches commits to build a house every other year. The latest house is now being built on Iowa Street, one block west of Main Street with the dedication in November 2016. Several of the members of the church work each week on construction and the church plans various ways to give money to support the Methodist Builds.
